Telegram and WhatsApp
Connect a Telegram bot or a WhatsApp Business number so customer messages arrive in a project channel.
If your team talks to customers in messengers, connect them to a project channel. The customer writes where they already are, and the team replies from Branzy.
What happens once connected
- A customer’s message appears in the project channel.
- The customer is created as a contact automatically.
- Your reply goes back to the messenger the customer wrote from.
- You can create a task from the conversation with
/task, and it stays linked to the dialogue.
Attachments
Each file type goes out the way the messenger expects:
- a voice reply arrives as a voice message, not as a file;
- photos, video, audio, and documents are sent as photos, video, audio, and documents.
How to connect
- Open the project channel settings.
- Choose a messenger: Telegram bot or WhatsApp Business.
- Follow the wizard: Telegram needs a bot token, WhatsApp needs a WhatsApp Business number.
Who may connect external channels is set in project settings — see members and permissions.
