Calendar and meetings

Schedule meetings, invite guests by email, get reminders, and sync with Google Calendar.

Creating a meeting

Create a meeting in the calendar or with /meeting in a chat. Set the time (from 15 minutes to a full day), participants from your projects, and any guests by email. Meetings are visible by participation: you see yours, while other people’s schedule appears anonymised, without details.

Views

Day, week, and month — on web and mobile. A separate view shows only your own meetings.

Meeting colour

Give each meeting one of eight colours to tell them apart at a glance.

Call room

When creating a meeting, pick a Branzy room or a Zoom link — the Join button sits on the meeting itself.

Reminders

Each participant gets their own push reminder before the start. Reminders are scheduled on the server, so they arrive even when the app is closed. If you move a meeting, the old reminders are cancelled and new ones created. Declining a meeting stops reminders for that person.

Responding to an invitation

Participants accept or decline, and the organiser sees the answers on the meeting.

Guests without an account

A guest added by email receives a regular calendar invitation (.ics) that opens in Outlook, Apple Calendar, or Gmail. No Branzy account is needed to attend.

Google Calendar

Connect Google Calendar once — meetings from Branzy appear there, and changes and cancellations flow both ways. See integrations.
