Dropbox

File storage is connected at the user level: files go to your own Dropbox account, and a link is posted in the chat.

How to connect

Profile settings → Add-ons → Dropbox → Connect. Files are saved to the “Branzy” folder of your Dropbox.

How to use

1. In chat type /dropbox and choose a file.
2. Branzy uploads it to Dropbox and posts a message with the link in the feed.

Where files go

Files are organised into folders automatically:

/Branzy/project name/chat/file

Missing folders are created on the first upload.

Link access

A shared Dropbox link is created. If your account administrator forbids public links, the upload fails with a clear message in chat. If a link for the file already exists, it is reused.

Limitations

• The file lives in your account, not on Branzy servers — Dropbox sets the permissions and quota.
• If access is revoked, the command stops working until you reconnect.
