Notes and documents

The block editor: headings, checklists, tables, draw.io diagrams, voice notes, and working offline.

Notes in Branzy are documents that edit the same way on a computer and on a phone.

Blocks

  • headings on three levels;
  • bulleted and numbered lists with indents;
  • checklists;
  • code with its language;
  • tables with merged cells;
  • images, audio, and files placed right in the text.

draw.io diagrams

A draw.io canvas opens inside the document and saves as you draw. The scheme and its explanation live in one file, not two.

One editor everywhere

A note is stored as structured data, not as a web page, so the mobile editor is the same editor — not a view-only mode.

Voice notes

Record on your phone and the note keeps both the audio and the transcript.

Folders and ownership

Notes sit in a folder tree you rearrange by dragging. A note can belong to a project or just to you.

Knowledge base

Publish a note to the knowledge base — search by meaning starts finding it in any language from any of your projects.

A person without an account can read a note too — turn on a public link.

Offline

On a phone, notes are readable without signal, and what you write is queued and sent when the connection is back.
