Slash commands in chat
Create tasks, meetings, and calls, upload files to the cloud, and find tasks without leaving the conversation.
Type / in the composer to open the command menu. Pick a command and the action runs in the context of the current chat. Some commands run instantly; others open a short form.
Commands
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/task | Creates a task and assigns it |
/meeting | Schedules a meeting and invites participants |
/call | Starts a video or audio call in this chat — details |
/zoom | Creates a Zoom meeting and posts the link to the chat |
/gdrive | Uploads a file to Google Drive and shares the link |
/yadisk | The same for Yandex Disk |
/dropbox | The same for Dropbox |
/jira | Creates a Jira issue |
/find | Finds a task on the board and posts its card to the channel |
There are also commands for Asana and one that pulls the decisions out of a conversation and writes them into the task description.
Only what’s connected
An integration command appears in the menu only when its service is connected for your project or account. Nobody picks Jira and then finds out it was never set up. See the integrations overview for how to connect services.
Cards in the feed
A command’s result appears in the chat as a card: task, meeting, call, file. Cards are live — a task’s status or a call’s participants update on their own.
