Asana

Connect Asana to a project and create Asana tasks from chat with /asana.

Like Jira, Asana is connected at the Branzy project level: set up once, then it works for the whole team.

How to connect

  1. Project settings → Add-ons → Asana → Connect.
  2. Sign in to Asana and approve access. Branzy asks to read workspaces and projects and to create tasks.
  3. Choose the Asana project that tasks should go to.

Connecting requires the project-settings permission in Branzy.

How to use

  1. In chat type /asana.
  2. Enter a name and description.
  3. Send — a card with a link to the created Asana task appears in the chat. The description goes into the task’s notes field.

Limitations

The command only creates tasks; there is no two-way sync with the Branzy board.
