Google Calendar
Two-way sync of Branzy meetings with Google Calendar and .ics invitation emails.
Connection is at the user level: everyone links their own calendar.
How to connect
Profile settings → Add-ons → Google Calendar → Connect, and allow access to your calendar.
What is synced
- Branzy to Google. Meetings are created and updated as events in your primary calendar. Title, description and time match; the video link is put in the Location field so you can see where to join right in Google.
- Google to Branzy. Events from your calendar are shown in the Branzy schedule next to meetings, so you see your availability in one place. Events created by Branzy itself are not duplicated.
Guest invitations
A guest added by email gets a standard calendar invitation (.ics) that opens in Outlook, Apple Calendar or Gmail. They don’t need a Branzy account.
If it doesn’t sync
Disconnect and reconnect the calendar to refresh access. Duplicates shouldn’t appear: a Branzy event has a stable identifier and is updated rather than created again.
