Members and permissions
Invite people to a project and choose which of the seven permissions each member gets.
Inviting to a project
Find a person by name or email — recent contacts come first. Email case doesn’t matter. The invitee gets a notification and accepts or declines. You can set permissions at the moment of inviting; leave them empty to apply the defaults.
Member permissions
Permissions are set per project:
| Permission | What it allows |
|---|---|
| Create tasks | Create tasks and turn on public links |
| Move between columns | Change a task’s column |
| Change priority | Change the priority |
| Change labels | Change labels |
| Change dates | Change dates and the deadline |
| Create channels | Create project channels |
| Settings access | Enter project settings |
Permissions can be changed after the invitation.
What a member sees
A member without permission for an action simply doesn’t see the matching controls.
