Integrations overview
Which services connect to Branzy, at which levels, and how that affects chat commands.
Integrations extend chats with commands and cards. Connected services appear in the slash command menu, and a command’s result arrives in the chat as a card or a link.
Connection levels
The level determines who connects a service and who uses it.
| Level | Who connects | Who uses it | Examples |
|---|---|---|---|
| System | nobody — works on its own | everyone | basic chat commands |
| Project | a member with the project-settings permission | everyone in the project | Jira, Asana |
| User | each person for themselves | only that person | Zoom, Google Calendar, file storage |
Available services
| Service | Level | What it gives you |
|---|---|---|
| Jira Cloud | Project | Create Jira issues with /jira |
| Asana | Project | Create Asana tasks with /asana |
| Zoom | User | Video meeting with /zoom |
| Google Calendar | User | Two-way meeting sync, .ics invitation emails |
| Google Drive | User | Upload a file from chat, /gdrive |
| Yandex Disk | User | Upload a file from chat, /yadisk |
| Dropbox | User | Upload a file from chat, /dropbox |
| Gmail | User | Emails as messages, sender filters |
| Telegram and WhatsApp | Project | Customer conversations in a project channel |
How to connect
- For yourself: Profile settings → Add-ons.
- For a project: project settings → Add-ons (requires the project-settings permission).
A service’s command appears in chat as soon as the connection is done. If a service isn’t connected, its commands don’t show in the menu — nobody picks Jira and finds it isn’t set up.
Security
- Access is granted through OAuth: Branzy never sees your password for the third-party service.
- Tokens are stored encrypted.
- Branzy asks for the minimum rights needed, for example only files created by the app.
- You can revoke access at any time — in Branzy settings or in the service itself.
If something doesn’t work
- Check that the connection is active in the Add-ons list.
- If access was revoked or expired, reconnect the service.
- For project integrations, make sure you have the project-settings permission.
Access for AI clients
To let an outside AI assistant work with Branzy data, there is a separate section — the MCP server.
