Refund Policy

cancellation of paid subscriptions and refunds on the Branzy platform

How to cancel a paid subscription, when a refund is due, and how to request one.

1. General provisions

1.1. This Refund Policy explains how paid subscriptions to the Branzy platform (the “Platform”) are cancelled and when and how money is refunded. It is issued by Maksim Pukhalskii, an individual entrepreneur registered under the laws of Georgia (the “Provider”, “we”), and forms part of the Terms of Service, in particular sections 5 and 6.

1.2. The free version of the Platform, where available, involves no payment and therefore no refund.

1.3. Nothing in this Policy limits the rights that mandatory laws of your country of habitual residence grant to you as a Consumer. If this Policy and mandatory law conflict, mandatory law prevails.

2. Cancelling a subscription

2.1. A subscription is paid in advance and renews automatically until you cancel it. You can turn off automatic renewal at any time through the available account settings or by writing to info@branzy.app.

2.2. Cancellation stops future charges. Access to paid features usually remains available until the end of the period you have already paid for.

2.3. To avoid a further charge, cancel before the date of the next charge.

3. When a refund is not due

3.1. Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, a charge for a billing period that has already started is non-refundable, including where the User stops using the Platform during that period. Annual subscriptions are an exception to this rule, as follows:

  • on the first annual payment, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the date of payment;
  • when an annual subscription renews automatically for a new year, you may request a full refund within 7 days of the date of the charge.

After these periods have expired, the paid annual period is non-refundable, but you can still turn off automatic renewal.

3.2. Cancelling automatic renewal does not by itself entitle you to a refund of a period that has already been paid for and has started.

3.3. Reducing the number of users in a package takes effect from the next billing period; the difference for the current period is not refunded. An increase in the number of users is paid for in addition, in proportion to the remaining part of the current period.

3.4. We may, at our discretion, make a refund beyond what this Policy provides. Doing so does not create a right to further refunds in other cases.

4. Statutory right of withdrawal

4.1. If you are a Consumer, you retain any withdrawal, refund, and other guarantees provided by mandatory laws of your country of habitual residence.

4.2. In particular, where EU law applies, a Consumer will generally have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of concluding it, without giving a reason, unless a statutory exception applies.

4.3. The service may start immediately at the User’s request. Where applicable law requires it, we ask for separate confirmation of the consequences of an immediate start before the payment is made.

4.4. Where a withdrawal right applies and the service has already started, the refund is calculated taking into account the part of the service already provided. This does not limit the more favourable rules for annual subscriptions in section 3.1.

5. How to request a refund

5.1. Send a request to info@branzy.app from the email address of your Branzy account. Please state:

  • the email address of the account;
  • the date and amount of the charge;
  • the reason for the request, and whether you are relying on a statutory withdrawal right.

5.2. We will review the request and reply within 5 business days.

5.3. If you have a question about a charge, please contact us first rather than filing a dispute (chargeback) with your bank: in most cases we can resolve the matter faster. This does not limit your right to contact your bank or the payment provider.

6. How a refund is paid

6.1. A refund is made using the same payment method that was used for the payment, where this is technically possible.

6.2. A refund is made within the period required by applicable law and in any case no later than 14 days after we approve it. The time it takes for the money to appear on your statement depends on your bank and the payment provider.

6.3. A refund covers the amount actually paid. Fees or exchange-rate differences charged by your bank or the payment provider may not be recoverable, unless applicable law provides otherwise.

7. Failed and erroneous charges

7.1. If a charge fails, we may restrict access to paid features after notifying the User. This does not affect any refund rights provided by applicable law.

7.2. If you believe you were charged in error (for example, twice for the same period, or after you cancelled renewal in time), contact us at info@branzy.app. Where we confirm the charge was made in error, we will refund it in full.

8. Changes to this Policy

8.1. We may update this Policy. The updated version is published on this page. A change does not affect charges made before it took effect.
