Connect Branzy to Gemini

This guide is for Gemini CLI, which can work with remote MCP servers. Once connected, Branzy tools are available right in the Gemini terminal session.

How to connect

1. Open a terminal and add the server with one command:

   gemini mcp add --transport http branzy https://branzy.app/mcp

2. Or add it by hand to the ~/.gemini/settings.json file (open it in any text editor, not in the terminal):

3. Start Gemini CLI in the terminal (the gemini command) and enter this command to sign in: a browser window opens, approve access.

   /mcp auth branzy

4. Type /mcp to check that branzy is connected and its tools are listed.

How to use

Just write to your assistant in plain words. On first use it asks you to approve access to Branzy; it sees only what you see yourself. For example:

• What did we agree with the customer in the last meeting?
• Show my overdue tasks across all projects
• Create a task for Anna: prepare the report by Friday
